5 Senses Tour has been created specifically for women, that enjoy traveling and truly experiencing the nuances and differences that a country has to offer.  This is not an "on-and-of-the-bus" type of trip! Instead, we have created a 9 day journey that allows our participants to engage with the people, the land and the culture.  

We travel from the north of the country (the Lebanese border) to as far south as the Dead Sea and Masada. Along the way, we meet, learn, see, taste and experience the diverse tapestry that makes up this incredibly rich and passionate country!  Please view complete itinerary

Tour Leader:  Wendy Yaniv

I guess I can qualify as a native "Atlantan," having lived here for more than 30 years!   My "real" job is a Realtor but my volunteer passion is Israel!  I am married to an Israeli, have 3 wonderful kids (19, 16, 14) and consider Israel a second home!  Since my first visit, at the age of 16, I have continued to spend a great deal of time in the country. During college, I spend my summers as a tour guide for American kids (age 16-18) in Israel on 6 week trips. After graduating from the University of Texas, I returned to Israel and began my working life in Tel Aviv at an International Trade company.  As a family, we spend part of our summers in Israel, visiting my husband's family.  This trip grew out my passion to share the wonders of Israel with friends.  Israel is like no other country - full of opinions, passion, extremes and beauty.  Although the general tours of Israel are a wonderful snapshot of the country, is not the “experience” I wanted to create.  After consulting with my good friend (and our tour guide) we created, what we believe, to be a truly unique experience - engaging all of your senses - the 5 Senses Tour!  To have the opportunity to share with others the diversity and beauty of this country is truly an honor.  

Tour Guide:  Harrison Cohen

So… you’re wondering, “Why does an all-woman’s tour have a male tour guide?”  Good question!  Harrison has been a tour guide for over 20 years and is one of the most sought-after guides in Israel (booking out a year in advance).   In addition to his overall knowledge of the country, he also specializes in Christian tours.  He is well versed in ALL of the religions and people of Israel, which is important for our non-denominational group of women.  In addition to his professional strengths, he helped design this trip.  With his years of experience as a guide and the understanding of what I was trying to achieve, he was able to help turn my vision into a reality!  Last but not least, just for the record, he has not complained about being the only male with a group of women for 9 days!  We will do our best to make him feel welcome!
